Jillian has nearly 40 years’ experience in the financial sector and is one of the most highly respected figures in the financial services industry.
She is a past president of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce; only the second female in nearly 160 years to hold this position. She has also been a patron of East Midlands Chamber of Commerce. But her influence spreads far wider than the area surrounding her business base.
In 2017 she represented finance in the prestigious Parliamentary Review. An influential report, with a forward by then Prime Minister Theresa May, which was sent to more than 250,000 leading business executives and policymakers.
In January 2020 Jillian was honoured to be asked by the Parliamentary Review office to feature in a podcast described as one ‘for the people who run the country and the people who keep the country running’.
The podcast on behalf of the Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, saw Jillian appear alongside former Home Secretary Sir David Blunkett.
Her qualifications include the Financial Planning Certificate and Diploma Level 4 in financial planning and the European qualification, the EFA, and she is a qualified Pension Transfer Specialist. She is also currently studying the Advanced Leadership Programme.
